To commemorate the 2023 Ryder Cup, Elijah Craig is releasing something special. The brand is the PGA of America’s official bourbon.

The bourbon is finished using European oak barrels toasted used by those in the Lazio wine-growing region. Rome, Italy, hosts this year’s Ryder Cup at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club from Sept. 29 through Oct. 1. The region is also where Lazio wines are grown. “We are thrilled to raise a glass to the 2023 Ryder Cup with this new limited-edition release of Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel,” says Max Stefka, Group Product Director, Elijah Craig Bourbon. “The unique marriage of toasted European Oak and our extra-aged Kentucky Bourbon offers a taste experience fit for one of the world’s greatest sporting events.”

The neck label on the bottle is decorated, featuring the Ryder Cup trophy and the coin-emblazoned cork logo. The label states that the bourbon is the “Official Bourbon of the Ryder Cup.”

Each bottle will also come packaged in a gift box that further details the story of this one-time offering.

The Limited release of Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Ryder Cup Limited Edition will be in stores in mid-August on an allocated basis with a suggested retail price of $99.99 per 750 ml. bottle.
