Copper & Kings is welcoming the arrival of fall with an afternoon devoted to American apple brandy, seasonal cocktails, live music and local flavors at its Louisville distillery.
The free Copper & Kings Apple Brandy Fall Festival will take place from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at 1121 E. Washington St. in Louisville’s Butchertown neighborhood.
The celebration will begin in the distillery courtyard before moving to the rooftop later in the day. Guests can expect live musical performances, hourly giveaways and two cocktail demonstrations led by the Copper & Kings team.
Seasonal drink offerings will include spiked apple brandy cider, traditional cider, pumpkin beer and other fall selections. Apple doughnuts also will be available.
The event is designed to showcase Copper & Kings’ American apple brandy while bringing together spirits fans, families, neighborhood residents and local businesses for a fall celebration.
Organizers are planning a selection of local vendors and activities, including flowers, pumpkins, face painting, Butchertown shops and a food truck. Additional vendors, activities and entertainment will be announced closer to the festival.
Copper & Kings has built its reputation by applying Kentucky whiskey traditions to American brandy. The Louisville distillery is known for aging brandy in bourbon barrels and finishing bourbon in brandy barrels, creating a connection between the state’s signature whiskey industry and the modern revival of American brandy.

The festival is free and open to the public. Guests must be of legal drinking age to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.
