LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bourbon, food and live music will come together in Louisville this October as United Spirits returns for its third year, bringing a lineup of Kentucky distilleries and other beverage producers to Progress Park.
The 21-and-older event is scheduled for Oct. 15 and will feature tastings from Angel’s Envy, Barrell Craft Spirits, Beam Suntory Global Spirits, Castle & Key, Kentucky Peerless, Maker’s Mark and Michter’s.
Country Boy Brewing and West End Gin will also participate, while additional tastings will include wine, tequila and gin.
Several of the bourbons and whiskeys planned for the evening have already been announced.
Kentucky Peerless will pour Toasted Bourbon, Double Oak Bourbon, Toasted Rye and Double Oak Rye.
Michter’s lineup will include US1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon, US1 Kentucky Straight Rye, US1 Sour Mash, US1 Unblended American Whiskey and Toasted Barrel Finish Rye.
The evening will include live music from The Crashers along with food from Watch Hill Proper and Chef Michael Crouch. Additional local food offerings will include both sweet and savory selections, along with a s’mores bar.
United Spirits is presented by Metro United Way, with proceeds from ticket sales supporting programs serving children and families in the Louisville region.
The event combines the atmosphere of a spirits festival with a fundraising event, giving attendees an opportunity to sample products from several major Kentucky whiskey producers while supporting Metro United Way programs.
The bourbon lineup spans some of the state’s largest and most recognizable producers as well as independent distilleries.
Maker’s Mark and Beam Suntory Global Spirits represent some of Kentucky’s best-known whiskey operations, while Louisville-based Angel’s Envy and Kentucky Peerless give the event a strong hometown presence. Michter’s operates its Fort Nelson Distillery in downtown Louisville, and Castle & Key produces its spirits at the restored Old Taylor Distillery property near Frankfort.
Barrell Craft Spirits, also based in Louisville, rounds out the announced whiskey lineup.
United Spirits will be held Oct. 15 at Progress Park in Louisville. Tickets are $100 per person, and attendees must be 21 or older.
