LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (Nov. 3, 2026) — Larrikin Bourbon Company is expanding into Arizona, its 18th state, through a new partnership with Phoenix-based Uncommon Spirits that also will introduce Koala Bare Spirits’ Australian-inspired gins to the market.
The agreement brings the veteran-owned Kentucky distillery’s bourbon, rye whiskey and specialty spirits to a new audience in the Southwest while expanding the reach of Koala Bare’s botanical-focused gin lineup.
Uncommon Spirits will work with Arizona retail and hospitality partners to introduce the brands, with support that includes tastings, events and other brand-building activities.
“Arizona is a bloody important market for us,” said Greg Keeley, founder and distiller of Larrikin Bourbon Company. “Ripper bourbon, Aussie inspired gin and a healthy disregard for taking ourselves too seriously. We reckon we’ll get along with Uncommon Spirits just fine.”
Based in Lawrenceburg, Larrikin combines Kentucky whiskey craftsmanship with the Australian heritage of Keeley, an Australian-born U.S. Navy combat veteran. Its portfolio includes bourbon, rye whiskey and specialty releases.
Koala Bare carries that Australian influence into gin, featuring distinctive Australian botanicals in a contemporary style. The partnership gives Arizona retailers, bars and restaurants access to both whiskey and gin offerings through the same local partner.
