The old-fashioned is one of the first bourbon cocktails I tried. An easy cocktail to make and everyone has their own recipe.

Some swear by the sugar cube while others say simple syrup is just as good. Father’s Day is Sunday and I expect a lot of old-fashioned’s will be served to grateful dads all around the world.
INGREDIENTS:
  • 2.0 oz Bourbon
  • 1 Sugar Cube
  • 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitter
  • Orange Twist
  • 1 Bar Spoon of Water
METHOD:
  1. Muddle the sugar cube and bitters with one bar spoon of water at the bottom of a chilled rocks glass
  2. Add Bourbon and Stir
  3. Add One Large Ice Cube
  4. Slip Orange Twist on the Side of the Cube
REVIEW:

After sipping on this cocktail, I realize why this drink is usually number one for Top Bourbon Cocktails in the World. It is a timeless classic that goes down smooth and has never lost its cool factor.
