The old-fashioned is one of the first bourbon cocktails I tried. An easy cocktail to make and everyone has their own recipe.
- 2.0 oz Bourbon
- 1 Sugar Cube
- 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitter
- Orange Twist
- 1 Bar Spoon of Water
- Muddle the sugar cube and bitters with one bar spoon of water at the bottom of a chilled rocks glass
- Add Bourbon and Stir
- Add One Large Ice Cube
- Slip Orange Twist on the Side of the Cube
After sipping on this cocktail, I realize why this drink is usually number one for Top Bourbon Cocktails in the World. It is a timeless classic that goes down smooth and has never lost its cool factor.
