A relative newcomer to the bourbon scene, Company Distilling’s Straight Bourbon Whiskey will not be a rookie for long.

Master Distiller Jeff Arnett (former Master Distiller for Jack Daniels) has created something special in this batch. Being from Kentucky, typically we frown on anything from Tennessee, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this bourbon.

REVIEW:

From the moment I poured the sample bottle into my Glencairn, the aroma of vanilla, brown sugar, and caramel filled my nose. The first sip validated my nose, as I tasted notes of a deep, rich caramel flavor. With my second sip, the maple syrup and cinnamon flavors started to peek through. The finish was not harsh and maple brown sugar lingered on the tongue long after I swallowed and left me wanting more. I guess not all things from Tennesee are bad, and especially not this bourbon.
