To kick off Bourbon Heritage Month, I thought it would be a good idea to try something different.

The BLT satisfies that request. Bourbon, Lemon, and Tonic make up this concoction.

I know that tonic may not be the first ingredient you reach for when mixing bourbon, but hey why not try something a little weird?

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/4 Cup of Kentucky Bourbon
  • 1/2 Cup of Tonic
  • 1 Tbsp of Lemon Juice
  • 1 Slice of Lemon
METHOD:
  1. Combine all ingredients into a Cocktail Shaker
  2. Shake until Mixed
  3. Add Ice to a Rocks Glass
  4. Pour and Garnish with Lemon Slice
REVIEW:

I will say the cocktail was a little strange with tonic, but I liked the pairing of bourbon and tonic. It was a refreshing drink that I would make again. Cheers to the kick-off of Bourbon Heritage Month!!!
