LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Fireball Cinnamon Whisky is adding a new flavor to its lineup just in time for fall, and fans won’t have long to get their hands on it.
Fireball Torch’d Vanilla will begin arriving at participating retailers nationwide in September for a limited time, offering a sweeter, smokier take on the popular cinnamon whisky.
The new release clocks in at 66 proof, or 33% alcohol by volume, and combines rich vanilla with toasted marshmallow, smoky oak and warm baking spices before finishing with Fireball’s familiar cinnamon heat.
The brand describes the flavor as reminiscent of a warm cinnamon-spiced cupcake with a touch of smoke.
“We had a feeling that there was a bolder, hotter side of vanilla just waiting to be set free,” said Danny Suich, global brand director of Fireball. “Fireball Torch’d Vanilla is the perfect bottle to warm things up as the days get shorter.”
Fireball Torch’d Vanilla is scheduled to hit participating retailers across the United States beginning in September 2026. Unlike an addition to Fireball’s permanent lineup, however, Torch’d Vanilla is being released only for a limited time.
That could give curious Fireball drinkers an incentive to grab a bottle when they see one rather than waiting until later in the year. “It’s only here for a limited time, so try it now or spend the rest of the year hearing about what you missed,” Suich said.
Fireball is leaning heavily into dessert and fall flavors with the new release. Fireball has built its identity around one unmistakable characteristic: cinnamon. Torch’d Vanilla doesn’t abandon that formula. Instead, the company is using vanilla, toasted marshmallow, oak and baking spices to build around the cinnamon flavor that made the brand famous.
Fireball promotes its whisky primarily as an ice-cold shot, although the company also recommends using it in cocktails or pairing it with beer.
The new vanilla expression could open the door to additional fall cocktail combinations as well, particularly drinks built around apple, coffee, chocolate and other seasonal flavors.
For Fireball, however, the strategy appears straightforward: take one of the world’s most familiar flavors and give it the brand’s characteristic heat. For more information, visit https://www.fireballwhisky.com.
