Now “Quit Wallerin” and try this drink.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1.5 oz Kentucky Bourbon
  • 2.0 oz Iced Tea
  • 1.0 oz Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 0.25 oz Peach Liqueur
METHOD:
  1. Mix all ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Strain into a highball glass, filled with ice.
  3. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

Growing up near Eastern Kentucky, I didn’t want to like this cocktail, but I “Reckon” I did. There is something about mixing peach and bourbon that just puts a smile on my face. Each ingredient brought something to the table. The acidity of the lemon smoothed over the tea and the simple syrup. A simple cocktail to make on warm summer nights. This drink is not an “Achy-breaky-bad-mistakey.” Look it up!
