Three whiskey experts came together to create “Unabridged Volume 1,” the latest creation from Milam & Greene.

This blend has been carefully crafted in Texas to appeal to connoisseurs who like a high-proof whiskey. At 118 proof, you know that you are tasting Texas bourbon.

REVIEW:

The high-proof immediately gives off a higher-than-normal ethanol aroma. Once settled, the notes of oak, toffee, and corn present themselves.

The first sip had a touch of praline and vanilla, with hints of cinnamon which is on target for a high-proof bourbon. As I continued, the burn dissipated, and quick hits of oak and rye coated my throat.

The finish was harsher than expected, but not too much to not enjoy the flashes of cherry and apricot. A tiny bit of bitterness poked through, which I would explain as an espresso flavor. A very complex blend and surprisingly tasty for a high-proof whiskey.

Unabridged was unbelievably good, 4/5 Barrels.
