Hotel Covington is proud to announce that they will partner with New Riff Distilling to release their special New Riff Single Barrel Rye Whiskey, available exclusively at Hotel Covington. New Riff is a rye-centric Bourbon distillery, putting a new riff on the old Kentucky sour mash whiskey tradition. The new Rye whiskey will be available to purchase at Coppin’s and Hotel Covington’s retail shop.
Due to New Riff’s small size and process, their Single Barrel whiskeys capture the flavor of each fermentation, meaning they can have an exceptionally wide range of flavors. After aging for four years, the New Riff Single Barrel Rye is a very approachable whiskey for barrel-strength sipping. With a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted rye, they call it 100% rye.

In addition to offering full bottles of New Riff Single Barrel Rye at the hotel’s retail shop, whiskey lovers are invited to Hotel Covington on the launch date, November 30, to try a $5 1 oz. pour of the highly coveted rye. Guests can then take their receipts to the gift shop, where they will receive $5 off the purchase of a full bottle.
