Louisville, KY, -Copper & Kings has relaunched its Bottle Your Own experience in Louisville, giving visitors the chance to taste two single barrels and fill a bottle of American brandy, bourbon or both to take home.
The one-hour guided tour begins with a welcome cocktail made with American brandy aged in bourbon barrels. Guests then visit the barrel cellar for a side-by-side tasting of Revival American Brandy and Kings Proof Bourbon, tour the copper pot still room and receive a tasting pour typically reserved for Kings Bottle Club members.
The experience ends with samples from one single barrel of brandy and one of bourbon. Guests who choose to buy a bottle fill, cork, label and sign it themselves.
“Our brandies age in bourbon barrels, and our bourbons finish in brandy barrels,” said Rob Bourdon, CEO of Copper & Kings. “The Bottle Your Own experience lets guests discover that connection firsthand and take home a bottle they personally created.”
Tours are offered daily at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. at 1121 E. Washington St. Tickets cost $48 per person. Filled bottles cost an additional $90 each, plus tax; a bottle is not included in the tour price. Guests must be 21 or older and present a valid ID to fill a bottle.
