Memphis, TN -Blue Note Bourbon is increasing the allocation of its Honey Bourbon and Honey Rye Cask Whiskey for the releases’ third year after both sold out quickly in each of the past two years.
For each expression, Blue Note finishes its whiskey in American oak barrels that previously held wildflower barrel-aged honey for six to nine months. The company says the process adds honey character alongside notes of spice, toasted oak and caramel.
The unfiltered Honey Bourbon has a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% wheat and 9% malted barley. It is bottled at 117.8 proof. The unfiltered Honey Rye is made from 95% rye and 5% malted barley and is bottled at 119.6 proof.

Approximately 2,500 cases of the two expressions are available through Blue Note’s website and in select U.S. markets. Each carries a suggested retail price of $64.99. Blue Note is also offering a limited number of single barrels of both whiskeys through select retailers.
Blue Note’s whiskey is distilled in partnership with Lofted Spirits, parent company of Kentucky’s Green River Distilling Co., and aged in Memphis.
Production Facility & Tasting Room
Blue Note’s 110,000 square foot production facilities, located on Royal Avenue just North of downtown Memphis, are open from Monday through Friday from 10am – 4:00pm CST and include a unique and intimate tasting room.
