OWENSBORO, Ky. (Oct. 27, 2025) — Green River Distilling Co. is honoring service members this holiday season by offering free, personalized labels for its Green River Kentucky Straight Whiskey and Army 250th Anniversary bottles.
Fans can visit GreenRiverWhiskey.com/Army to create a custom label featuring the name of a soldier, veteran, or loved one. Green River will print and ship the label free of charge, allowing bourbon fans to personalize their own bottle at home.
Custom labels are available online through the end of the year. Starting Nov. 3, visitors can also request labels in person at Green River Distilling Co. in Owensboro or the Green River Whiskey Row Tasting Room in Louisville.
Earlier this year, Green River released a special limited-edition bourbon — Green River Army 250th Anniversary — the official whiskey of the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary. Bottled at Army Strong 111.1 proof (55.55% ABV) as a nod to Veterans Day, the small-batch release blends 4- to 7-year-old barrels and retails for $49.99.
A portion of proceeds from each bottle benefits programs that enhance the quality of life for soldiers and their families, supporting wellness, sports, recreation, and entertainment. Green River’s parent company, Lofted Spirits, also donates annually to organizations including the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, the Special Operations Fund, USA Cares and the Bardstown-Nelson County Veterans Memorial.
The bourbon delivers a rich flavor profile with notes of caramel, black cherry, cocoa, and peppermint, followed by toffee, toasted oak, and a lightly spiced finish.
