LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. — Larrikin Bourbon Company is expanding into Texas through a new agreement with Green Light Distribution, which will represent Larrikin Bourbon and Koala Bare Gin statewide.
The appointment adds Texas to the Lawrenceburg company’s growing U.S. distribution network, creating opportunities to reach retailers, bars and restaurants through Green Light’s statewide sales and distribution platform.
Larrikin’s Texas portfolio will include its Kentucky-distilled bourbon and rye whiskey range, along with Koala Bare Gin, its modern Australian gin brand made with Australian botanicals and a reduced-juniper profile.
“Texas is an important market for us from both a scale and brand-development standpoint,” said Greg Keeley, founder and distiller of Larrikin Bourbon Company. “It has a large, knowledgeable whiskey consumer base, a strong independent retail channel and a healthy on-premise market. Green Light gives us the local infrastructure and account relationships we need to build the business properly.”
The agreement follows Larrikin’s continued expansion across the United States. The company said it is prioritizing markets where it can develop sustainable wholesale volume and establish long-term relationships with distributors.
For the Kentucky producer, the Texas rollout brings both its whiskey and gin businesses into a new market under one distribution partner. Green Light plans to pursue opportunities across independent retailers, key accounts and establishments that serve spirits on-site.

Keeley said Larrikin’s approach centers on controlled expansion and active support for its distribution partners, with an emphasis on building the brands over time.
“We are not trying to add markets simply to increase a state count,” he said. “The priority is finding partners who understand the brands, have the right route to market and are prepared to build them over time. Texas meets those criteria.”
The Texas appointment extends Larrikin’s reach in the southern United States and advances its national growth strategy across the whiskey and gin categories.
