Louisville, KY — (March 31, 2026)] — Award-winning Rabbit Hole Distillery will debut Raceking, a limited 6-year edition bourbon inspired by the bold spirit, precision, and pageantry of horse racing, with a special Raceking exhibit and launch event at the Rabbit Hole Distillery in Louisville’s NuLu neighborhood.
To celebrate the release, Rabbit Hole will host a Raceking exhibit on Tuesday, April 14, transforming the distillery into a tribute to Kentucky’s racing heritage. The progressive experience takes visitors through curated sensory moments that reveal the spirit at different stages of its making, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at the craftsmanship behind the bottle. The event is open to the public and bookings are available here: Finish First: an exhibition of Raceking
The experience culminates in a refined tasting at The Overlook, Rabbit Hole’s rooftop cocktail bar, where Raceking is paired with an elegant dessert progression designed to highlight the whiskey’s layered chocolate malt character.
Created just in time for Derby season, Raceking reflects Rabbit Hole’s meticulous approach to modern whiskey making that reimagines the use of grains to craft a distinctive, one-of-a-kind expression. The release marks Rabbit Hole’s first core format to include an age-statement.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Rich toffee, toasted almonds, finishing with hints of brown sugar
Palate: Roasted espresso beans, cocoa, caramel with notes of clove and cardamom
Finish: Tobacco and leather, finishing with lingering notes of dark chocolate
The distinctive 5-grain mash bill, completely original to Rabbit Hole, incorporates two varieties of chocolate malts (wheat and barley), increasing the depth and complexity of flavor. The whiskey is produced 100% in-house at Rabbit Hole Distillery using locally handcrafted toasted and charred American oak barrels.
“Raceking represents the thrill of the race and the precision of the craft,” said Kaveh Zamanian, founder of Rabbit Hole Distillery. “With this release, we wanted to capture the excitement and elegance of racing season while delivering the bold character and quality that bourbon enthusiasts expect from Rabbit Hole.”
The annual limited release will be available beginning April 14 at Rabbit Hole Distillery (711 East Jefferson Street) and nationally at select retailers beginning in May 2026. For more information on Raceking, visit https://www.rabbitholedistillery.com/pages/raceking.

About Rabbit Hole
Rabbit Hole exists to boldly reimagine the future of American whiskey through its Original Works of Bourbon. Founded by Kaveh Zamanian, a clinical psychologist turned whiskey maker, he set out to develop one-of-a-kind mash bills, signature malted grains, and whiskeys finished in distinctive casks — expressions designed to stand apart.
The Rabbit Hole portfolio reflects this ethos through its core offerings — Cavehill Four Grain Triple Malt Bourbon, Boxergrail Straight Rye, Dareringer Sherry Cask Finished Bourbon, and Heigold High Rye Double Malt Bourbon. This philosophy extends to the acclaimed Founder’s Collection and Distillery Series, where rare releases showcase the pinnacle of craft distillation. Located in Louisville’s vibrant NuLu neighborhood, Rabbit Hole Distillery is a modern cathedral to the art and science of whiskey. Since opening in 2018, it has been celebrated as an “Architectural Icon” of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and named the “World’s Leading Bourbon Distillery Tour” by the World Travel Awards. With its use of one-of-a-kind mash bills, custom-toasted and charred barrels, and uncompromising devotion to detail, Rabbit Hole stands apart as a symbol of modern American whiskey. In 2022, Kaveh was inducted into the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame, solidifying his place among industry pioneers and visionaries.
