ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky – Give 270, an Elizabethtown nonprofit, has announced that a bottle of Eagle Rare 25 will be the grand prize given away during their latest 20/20 Unicorn raffle, set for Wednesday, Sept. 24.

At 25 years old, Eagle Rare 25 is the oldest release in the Eagle Rare portfolio and a milestone for Buffalo Trace Distillery. It is the first expression to come from Warehouse P, one of the distillery’s two experimental warehouses, designed specifically to explore how extended aging can enhance the flavor and complexity of American whiskey.

After spending a full quarter-century in the barrel, Eagle Rare 25 was bottled to mark its silver anniversary. Each 101-proof bourbon is presented in a hand-blown crystal decanter, encased in a custom hand-hammered sterling silver wing. Housed in a unique display box, the bottle features a glass eagle nestled within, its wings framing the rare bottle.

Give 270’s 20/20 Unicorn raffles offer $20 tickets for two chances to win from a curated selection of 20 prizes from a specific distillery, including an exceptionally rare “unicorn” prize. In addition to the grand prize, each $20 ticket purchased in this raffle offers participants a chance to win from an  assortment of other allocated and limited release Eagle Rare products. The 19 other raffle prizes include a BTAC Eagle Rare 17 paired with an Eagle Rare 12, three standalone bottles of Eagle Rare 17, 10 bottles of Eagle Rare 12 and five bottles of the Eagle Rare 10 Mammoth Liquors Pick.

During the raffle, prizes numbered two through 20 will be drawn initially, with all tickets returning to the tumbler for an opportunity to win the grand prize.

The upcoming Unicorn raffle is set to take place live on Give 270’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. All proceeds will benefit Give 270’s work supporting worthwhile organizations and initiatives in central Kentucky. Tickets are available for purchase until 7 p.m. on the night of the drawing and there is no limit to the number of tickets purchased per individual.

“This is the oldest age statement we’ve ever offered in a Unicorn raffle, and we couldn’t be more thrilled,” said Eric Clemens, Board Chair of Give 270. “One lucky winner will take home this ultra-rare bottle, and everyone who purchases a ticket is helping us at Give 270 support the many incredible organizations and initiatives we fund throughout the region.”
