ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky.  – Tickets are now on sale for Round 17 of Whiskey Wednesdays, the weekly charity raffle hosted by Elizabethtown-based nonprofit Give 270, with this round marking the third installment of the annual “Pappy Palooza” series. Proceeds will benefit CASA of the Heartland, an organization that recruits, trains and supports community volunteers to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children in Hardin, LaRue, Grayson, Breckinridge and Meade counties.

Set to take place on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. from Oct. 1 through Dec. 17, the raffle gives ticket purchasers the chance to win from 12 “Pappy” prizes hidden behind 12 locker doors, plus the chance to win the round’s ultimate grand prize: a full six-bottle vertical of Pappy Van Winkle, which will be drawn on Dec. 17.

Prizes hidden behind the 12 locker doors include two bottles of Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 23 year, two bottles of Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 20 year, two bottles of Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 15 year, two bottles of Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye 13 year, two bottles of Van Winkle Special Reserve 12 year and two bottles of Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year.

In addition, each ticket provides purchasers with five chances to win each week as four bonus prizes are given away, including a bottle of Willet 8-Year Rye MANABOUTTOWN Give 270 Single Barrel, two bottles of Luca Mariano Signature Bourbon and a bottle of Buffalo Trace Give 270 Sazerac Barrel Select 1 L. Each of the 60 weekly winners (grand and bonus prizes) will be entered to win the six-bottle vertical at the end of the round.

Through proceeds from the past two “Pappy Palooza” raffle series, Give 270 has donated a total of $157,000 to CASA of the Heartland to help recruit additional volunteers and continue to support current volunteers who advocate for the most vulnerable children in the community. The organization relies on community support and partnerships to accomplish their mission each year.

“We at Give 270 are incredibly proud of the impact the Pappy Palooza series has made in support of CASA,” said Eric Clemens, Board Chair of Give 270. “The work they do to serve vulnerable children in our community is vital, and we’re hopeful this year’s series will bring an outstanding outcome.”

Whiskey Wednesdays Round 17 raffles are set to take place live on Give 270’s YouTube channel. Priced at $5 each, there is no limit to the amount of tickets purchased per individual each week.
