National Old Fashioned Day (June 14) is right around the corner! We are excited to toast to Dads with the classic Old Fashioned cocktail. We wanted to share a few whiskey brands recipes that are ideal to stir up this classic cocktail.
Brother’s Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey
The Straight Bourbon Whiskey features an elegant and exceptionally complex and balanced taste with a touch of sweetness and spice. Brother’s Fashioned
INGREDIENTS
- 5 oz Brother’s Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- 5 oz Amaro
- 25 oz Simple Syrup
- 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
INSTRUCTIONS
- Measure all ingredients with jigger and pour into a lowball glass.
- Add ice and stir.
- Garnish with orange twist.

Deanston Old Fashioned
INGREDIENTS
- 1 oz Deanston Virgin Oak Whisky
- 1 Cube of Brown Sugar
- Dash of Angostura Bitters
- Splash of Water
- 2 Ice Cubes
- Orange Twist to Garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
- Muddle the sugar and Angostura Bitters together in a glass with a splash of water.
- Drop in some ice and the whisky and give it a good mix.
- Add a squeeze of orange zest and twist to garnish.
