As historic flooding devastates parts of the Texas Hill Country, one local distillery is doing more than just crafting award-winning whiskey—they’re pouring their heart into helping their community.

Milam & Greene Whiskey, headquartered in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, has launched a compassionate initiative to support flood relief efforts for Kerr County and surrounding areas. Recognizing that this region is not only where they age their barrels but also where they live, work, and share life with neighbors, the distillery is channeling proceeds from whiskey sales directly to those in need.

15% of Whiskey Sales Donated Through July 15

Now through July 15, Milam & Greene is donating 15% of net proceeds from all online whiskey sales—shipped anywhere in the U.S.—to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, established by the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. Additionally, the same percentage of sales made at the Milam & Greene Hill Country distillery will be donated to the cause.  More information can be found here.

Special Bottle Releases for a Greater Impact

In an extra show of support, Milam & Greene is releasing a select number of limited-edition “secret bottles” for purchase at their distillery this Saturday, July 12. These rare finds often draw collectors and enthusiasts alike. Even more impactful—50% of net proceeds from the sale of their coveted Unabridged series will go directly to flood relief efforts.

Partnering with Spec’s to Help Pets in Crisis

Milam & Greene has also teamed up with Spec’s Wine, Spirits & Foods across Texas to support Texas Pets Alive, an organization working tirelessly to evacuate, shelter, and reunite pets displaced by the disaster. For every bottle sold at Spec’s, up to $20 per bottle will be donated to assist animal rescue and recovery efforts.

How You Can Help

Whether you’re a whiskey aficionado or someone simply looking to lend a hand, every purchase counts. Support can also be made directly to these dedicated organizations:

In times like these, it’s clear that bourbon isn’t just about what’s in the bottle—it’s about the spirit behind it. Milam & Greene is reminding us all what it means to be a helper, and how the whiskey community can rally to support those in need.
