LORETTO, Ky.June 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Maker’s Mark®, the iconic handmade Kentucky bourbon, kicked off the summer season today with the announcement of a new exhibition by acclaimed contemporary artist Dale Chihuly and an expanded culinary and cocktail program—both debuting at Star Hill Farm, home to the Maker’s Mark Distillery.

Opening July 19Chihuly x Maker’s Mark at Star Hill Farm will feature nine dramatic installations across the distillery’s expansive grounds. Guests will be welcomed by Sapphire and Platinum Waterdrop Tower (2017), a 12-foot piece inspired by the natural watershed at Star Hill Farm. Other highlights will include Moonbow Fiori (2025), the End of the Day Persian Chandelier (2015) and the distillery’s first permanent Chihuly installation, Spirit of the Maker (2013), a tribute to Maker’s Mark’s bourbon-making legacy.

“Working with Maker’s Mark over the last decade has been a creatively fulfilling experience for me,” said Dale Chihuly. “I drew a lot of inspiration from the landscape and architecture of the campus, and I’m excited to return with a new exhibition that responds to this special place in new ways.”

The exhibition will run through December 7. Admission will include a printed map for self-guided tours, with additional bookable experiences available. On Saturday evenings, the distillery’s popular after-dark tours will also return featuring access to the exhibition, a surprise pour from limited releases—including Star Hill Farm Whisky, the Wood Finishing Series and Cellar Aged expressions—and a Perfectly Unreasonable cocktail and culinary experience at Star Hill Provisions restaurant.

“Our founders, Margie and Bill Samuels Sr., built this brand on culture, community and an uncompromising pursuit of great bourbon,” said Rob Samuels, managing director of Maker’s Mark and eighth-generation whisky maker. “Our partnership with Dale Chihuly reflects that perfectly unreasonable spirit. This exhibition, shaped by nature and Dale’s imagination, reinforces our vision to make Star Hill Farm the most endearing, culturally rich and environmentally responsible homeplace in the world.”

Also debuting this summer at Star Hill Farm is a new cocktail and culinary program, led by the distillery’s head of cocktail innovation Leslie Krockenberger and Chef Richard Knight. Both have created an ambitious rotating menu of seasonal, handcrafted cocktails and hyper-local dishes drawn directly from the farm’s regenerative agricultural practices. The recently renovated Star Hill Provisions restaurant celebrates that same spirit of sustainability, now featuring an expanded menu and new outdoor patio.

About Maker’s Mark®
Maker’s Mark® is the iconic handmade Kentucky bourbon driven by a vision for better flavor and a better world. Maker’s Mark began with the innovative spirit of Margie and Bill Samuels, Sr., who in 1953, fulfilled their dream to create a delicious bourbon without the bite, using soft red winter wheat instead of rye to enhance the softness, sweetness and signature creaminess. Highly desired around the world, Maker’s Mark is handmade, hand-dipped in our signature red wax, and every barrel continues to be rotated by hand and is aged to taste not time.

Always true to the founders’ vision, Maker’s Mark continues to shape the brand’s future through purposeful, flavor-driven innovation. In recent years, the brand has introduced thoughtful, super-premium expressions to its portfolio, including Maker’s Mark 46, Maker’s Mark Cask Strength, and Maker’s Mark Cellar-Aged, all Double Gold winners of the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, as well as Maker’s Mark Private Selection: the brand’s custom barrel program.

Advancing its mission to cultivate bourbon that betters the world, while crafting the most flavorful product possible for consumers, Maker’s Mark is the largest bourbon distillery in the world to achieve B Corp Certification and the first distillery to achieve Regenified Certification, a reflection of the brand’s dedication to sustainable agriculture practices at Star Hill Farm, home to the Maker’s Mark Distillery.
