Elizabethtown, Kentucky-based nonprofit Give 270 is set to host an online charity raffle featuring valuable bourbon prizes, including a grand prize featuring a six-bottle set of Pappy Van Winkle and a five-bottle Buffalo Trace Antique collection.

The Bourbon Strong 12 Bourbons of Christmas raffle is set to take place live on Give 270’s Facebook page and YouTube channel Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 8 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Elizabethtown Police Foundation and CASA of the Heartland.

In addition to the grand prize, ticket purchasers can also choose to play for 12 bourbon prizes hidden behind 12 locker doors. When purchasing tickets, participants choose to “play the doors” or “pass” for a chance to win the grand prize. Those opting to play the doors will choose their ordered preference of the doors and receive the prize behind the next available door from their ordered list. Those choosing to pass will not choose doors nor receive a prize from behind the doors. Instead, tickets for these winners will be placed in an empty tumbler for the drawing of the grand prize.

Prizes behind the doors (in no particular order) include:

  • Pappy Van Winkle, 20 year

The Elizabethtown Police Foundation promotes excellence and enhances the effectiveness of the Elizabethtown Police Department by funding projects, research studies and equipment to improve police activities, facilitating education and training to strengthen the partnership between the police and the public and supporting officers, staff and their families in times of crisis. CASA of the Heartland recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers who advocate on behalf of abused, neglected and dependent children under the protection of the Hardin County Family Court system.
