CASA of the Heartland has launched their 2nd Bourbon Raffle in their 2022 Bourbon Raffle Series. The winner of this first raffle will receive a bottle of Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year, as well as a bottle of Van Winkle Family Reserve 12 Year Lot “B”, both of which were bottled in 2021. All proceeds benefit CASA of the Heartland and its mission to support abused and neglected children in the Hardin County Family Court System.

Tickets are $50 each and are currently on sale at casaheartland.org. Only 300 tickets will be available. The raffle ends on June 23 at 3:00 pm and a live drawing will be held on the CASA of the Heartland Facebook page at 5:00 pm.

“Like many other nonprofits, we are looking at different ways to fundraise as the need for our services continues to rise,” said CASA of the Heartland Executive Director, Norma Hatfield. “This event will not only engage an audience that might not be familiar with this mission of our organization but will introduce them to a wide variety of opportunities in which they may be able to provide support.  Everything we do is to help us serve a very vulnerable population who needs someone to be there for them.  We want every child who needs a CASA to have a CASA.”

Tickets are available only to those individuals who are 21 years of age and older. CASA staff, board members, and their respective spouses are not eligible to participate. With future raffles being held throughout 2022, CASA hopes to capitalize on the increasing interest in demand for highly valued and sought-after lines of bourbon while advocating for those children who need a CASA the most.
