Louisville, KY – Feb. 24, 2026 – Buzzard’s Roost Distillery, known for its innovative approach to Double Oak maturation, is launching two new visitor experiences at its downtown Louisville distillery and tasting room.

Grain to Glass

In this one-hour experience, Buzzard’s Roost Co-founder and Master Blender will lead guests through pairings inspired by the four grains that make up Buzzard’s Roost’s new Four Grain Double Oak Bourbon.

Guest will taste corn bread, wheat bread, rye bread and multigrain bread with sweet and savory accompaniments ranging from artisan puff pastry to caviar to chocolate and candied bacon. Four Buzzard’s Roost Double Oak whiskeys will be featured including Char #1 Bourbon, Bottled in Bond Wheated Bourbon, Toasted Rye and Four Grain Bourbon.

Derby Immersion

The 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby is Saturday, May 2 and Buzzard’s Roost is ready for it with a new, one-of-a-kind Derby Immersion Experience. This 90-minute curated cocktail and culinary journey features Derby favorites like country ham, the Kentucky “Hot Brown” and Bourbon Pecan Pie (aka Derby Pie) paired with Buzzard’s Roost Double Oak Whiskeys. Guests will also learn how to craft the perfect Mint Julep, using house-made syrups and garnishes that put a fresh twist on an old favorite.

The Derby Immersion Experience will be offered Thursday, Saturdays and Sundays, starting April 2, for $125 per person. For full schedule and to sign up, click here.

“Hospitality is at the center of everything we do,” says Buzzard’s Roost Marketing VP Laura Coomes. “We designed these new experiences to showcase our unique style of southern hospitality and classic Kentucky entertaining and bring our whiskeys to life in delicious new ways.”

Buzzard’s Roost will add more culinary-focused experiences throughout the year. Future experiences including Small Bites and Sips with in-house “grill masters” in June. In August, look for a Batched Cocktail Class and Classic Tailgate Crowd Pleasers.
