Bluegrass Distillers has named Military Missions their July Philanthropy Barrel Partner. Bluegrass Distillers has designed the program to give back to Kentucky non-profits in a way that provides no cost to the organization itself.
Military Missions’ goal is to provide care packages to deployed servicemen and women to express gratitude for the sacrifices military personnel make every day. These care packages include everything from hygiene items to handmade cards and cost approximately $20 a package. The care packages represent a taste of home to our deployed heroes.
“We are honored to have been chosen as the July Philanthropy Barrel Partner at Bluegrass Distillers,” said Military Missions’ Board President Karen Sparks. “It’s a great way for our community to actively participate in raising money for care packages sent to our extremely deserving deployed military personnel.”
The partnership with Military Missions gives $15 per bottle sold back to the organization. Each bottle retails for $70 and can be purchased at Bluegrass Distillers at 501 W 6th St. in Lexington.
