March 31st, 2026 – Bourbon enthusiasts have something special to look forward to this spring. Launching April 17, Angel’s Envy is unveiling its highly anticipated 2026 Cask Strength Dual Release—featuring both a Cask Strength Bourbon and, for the first time ever, a 10-Year Cask Strength Rye.
This milestone release celebrates 15 years of Angel’s Envy’s acclaimed cask strength program and pays tribute to Master Distiller Owen Martin’s first project with the brand—originally introduced as a dual expression. Now, that concept returns with greater maturity, refined craftsmanship, and a clear evolution in finishing expertise.
The Cask Strength Bourbon is crafted using a solera-inspired blending process, incorporating some of the brand’s oldest Kentucky straight bourbon before undergoing extended finishing in Ruby Port barrels. The result is a rich and layered profile, opening with cherry cordial and salted caramel, followed by apple cider, red wine notes, and creamy ganache, all culminating in a structured finish of oak, citrus preserves, and dark chocolate. Bottled at 117.8 proof, this limited release (just over 20,000 bottles nationwide) carries a suggested retail price of $249.99.
Equally compelling is the debut of the 10-Year Cask Strength Rye, the brand’s first age-stated rye at cask strength. Distilled between 2013 and 2015, this whiskey is aged in new charred American oak before spending up to four additional years finishing in Caribbean rum casks. The extended maturation delivers a complex profile featuring medjool date, brown sugar, and vanilla on the nose, followed by candied ginger, rye spice, and rum-soaked pound cake, with a long, luxurious finish of molasses, tropical fruit, and aged oak. Bottled at 111.6 proof, this expression is even more limited, with just 10,000 bottles available exclusively in the U.S. at a suggested retail price of $269.99.
Together, these two releases highlight the full spectrum of Angel’s Envy’s finishing innovation—each expression distinct, yet unified by a shared commitment to craftsmanship and bold flavor.
For collectors and connoisseurs alike, the 2026 Cask Strength Dual Release represents more than just a limited offering—it’s a defining moment in the evolution of one of Kentucky’s most celebrated modern bourbon brands.
