Brother’s Bond has always stood out—not just for its celebrity founders, but for its genuine commitment to quality, connection, and sustainability. With their latest release, Brother’s Bond Regenerative Grain Straight Bourbon, they raise the bar once again. This is not just a bottle of bourbon—it’s a reflection of land, time, and intention.  This is a new chapter in sustainable whiskey for Brother’s Bond.

In collaboration with 1 Hotels, a luxury hotel brand devoted to nature and sustainability, Brother’s Bond has unveiled its first-ever micro-batch single barrel release. Aged for seven years and bottled at 95 proof, this limited-edition bourbon is crafted using 100% regeneratively farmed grain and hand-selected by 1 Hotels’ top beverage directors, Steven Minor and Harrison Deakin. Crafted in partnership with North Carolina distiller Pete Barger, it’s a whiskey with purpose and pedigree.  The final mash bill comes in at 60% Corn, 11% Rye, 21% Wheat and 8% Malted Barley.

Color:
Deep amber with warm copper glints—suggesting a well-aged bourbon with substantial barrel interaction.

Aroma:
The nose is expressive and layered, offering a first impression of caramelized oak and dark cherry preserves. As it opens, notes of vanilla bean, wildflower honey, and graham cracker come forward. A hint of dried orange peel and freshly cut cedar lingers at the edge, adding complexity. You’ll also detect a subtle earthiness that may speak to the regenerative grain—evoking the scent of dry, fertile soil after rain.

Palate:
This bourbon opens soft and round, but quickly reveals its structure. The first sip delivers a rich wave of ripe stone fruit—baked peach, fig, and cherry—followed by a heart of cinnamon stick, clove, and a touch of cracked black pepper. There’s a wonderful balance between sweetness and spice. Mid-palate, the texture becomes velvety, almost creamy, with the influence of wheat and barley giving it a supple, lush mouthfeel.

Secondary notes include toasted marshmallow, burnt sugar, and molasses, anchored by a steady presence of charred oak, light leather, and a wisp of pipe tobacco. As the sip develops, hazelnut, vanilla cream, and a whisper of dark chocolate round out the profile.

Finish:
The finish is long and warming, with lingering spice and subtle dryness. Tannic oak, dry cocoa, and baking spice evolve gently as the warmth fades. There’s a final, rewarding note of sweet grain and honey, as if to remind you of its roots in regenerative agriculture. The complexity continues to unfold for minutes after the last sip.

Brother’s Bond has always claimed that sustainability is more than a marketing line—and this release proves it. By using regenerative agriculture, which supports soil health, increases biodiversity, and reduces carbon emissions, they’re taking a real step toward a more eco-conscious future for bourbon. A portion of all sales continues to support Kiss the Ground, a nonprofit focused on regenerative farming.

Only available at select 1 Hotels locations, this micro-batch comes in two formats:

  • 750ml bottles for bar pours and elevated cocktails
  • 375ml bottles in in-room minibars for a private tasting experience

This bourbon isn’t just rare—it’s responsible. Brother’s Bond Regenerative Grain Straight Bourbon captures the spirit of sustainability without sacrificing flavor. Whether you’re a seasoned bourbon enthusiast or someone drawn to purpose-driven products, this release deserves your attention.

Cheers!

This bottle rates 4 out of 5 barrels.
